Crocheting Journey: From Bamboo Hooks to Beautiful Designs
Crocheting wasn’t always smooth sailing for me. It all started in high school, watching my aunt’s hands weave magic with yarn. I started with simple handkerchiefs. Then, I borrowed patterns from neighbors to make more complex pieces.
But resources were tight. Living in Nepal, I couldn’t find the fancy hooks I craved. So, I got resourceful!
Imagine this: a teenager is crocheting with a homemade bamboo hook.
That’s a talk about dedication!
Life took me on detours.
I got married, put down the yarn, and picked it back up years later.
This time, I crocheted hats, scarves, and socks, even selling some in Simraha, India. But then, life intervened again.
Fast forward to today, and guess what?
My son, the biggest cheerleader a mom could ask for, reignited my passion for writing.
He even helped me design this website!
Now, I’m not crocheting; I’m sharing my love for the craft through patterns and tutorials.
So, whether you’re a seasoned crocheter or a curious beginner, welcome! Let’s explore this world of creativity together, one stitch at a time.
